Book is nice but it takes a lot of time to crochet these.
Fantastic book filled with great patterns! I also love that you can easily modify most of the patterns to make a larger afghan.

This year of baby afghans or blankets book is very nice. I was looking for some inspiration for baby gift afghans, and found many in this book by Leisure Arts, a quality company. I am glad that I purchased this book.

So far I've made only the animal afghan (August, I think). The pattern is REALLY LONG. To make it a bit easier to follow, I used a post-it note to mark my place. I moved it down a few lines at a time so I could work while keeping my place. The directions are pretty clear and easy to follow. I'm not interested in every pattern in the book, but with twelve different designs, there should be something for everyone!
